Rosie Fortescue Jewellery needed an experienced ecommerce agency to give their outdated site a complete makeover to match their unique brand story. We re-themed their Shopify site - adding bespoke customisations - with mobile experience at the forefront to increase conversion rates and improve the overall customer experience.
Rosie Fortescue Jewellery were looking for a site redesign that better represented their brand identity, luxury, statement jewellery that is also playful and full of colour. We introduced a clean, fashion-focused design to give the site a premium edge whilst also conveying a sense of fun with the use of colour. After performing an in depth UX review, we noticed that there were a number of issues with usability especially concerning compatibility with mobile. With the majority of traffic coming from mobile, there was a huge opportunity to create a better customer experience for mobile users. The retheme focused on optimising the site for mobile, improving the category navigation to help users move around the site more easily and updating the product page layout to better present the product and ultimately drive conversions.
Rosie Fortescue Jewellery also wanted a dedicated space on the new site for the customer to learn more about the brand and their story as well as accessing exclusive ‘How-tos’. The client wanted this page to be managed in house without the need for developer support. We customised the Shopify theme, using a Page Builder add on to create the ‘Inspire’ page. Page Builder is a drag-and-drop content management interface that can be utilised by non-technical teams. This allows Rosie Fortescue Jewellery to take control of how the ‘Inspire’ page looks, keeping the content up-to-date as and when is needed.
